The implementation of the revision of Reg.III/20.11 of SOLAS by Res. MSC 152 (78) that entered in use since Julio 1 of the 2006, in which a careful and total examination of the lifeboats and Cranes, as well as the tests (dynamic tests of winches brakes and operational test of lifeboat on-load release gear) must be carried out by representatives or a trained and certified person by the manufacturer according to “Guidelines for Periodic Servicing and maintenance of Lifeboats, Launching Appliances and On-load Release Gear”.
